Family Time in the SLC
On Saturday, we spent a good, full evening in Salt Lake City, seeing the sights, tasting the tastes, and nearly freezing to death. It was so very cold, but we were mostly well-dressed for the occasion and the hot chocolate at the mall took care of the rest of it. We spent the first few hours variously wandering around Temple Square, City Creek, and a few museum exhibits. Later, we rendevouzed at The Old Spaghetti Factory at Trolley Square - the location of Drew's parent's first official date once upon a time. Almost 30 years later, they were back with six kids, three kids-in-law, and three grandkids in tow for a significantly less romantic, and undoubtedly louder and more entertaining evening.
Salt Lake is a great little, big city, and it was good to spend time with this great little, big family in some of its most lovely and festive places.
