The Last Summer Sunday

Last Sunday was the very last Sunday of summer. We spent the day in Daybreak with Christie, Tyler, and tots, plus Peter and Jill, who were in town for the weekend. Here's a rather random collection of pictures from our day:

It was great to see Peter and Jill - actually, that was the first time I had seen them since we were neighbors on their honeymoon. And a little dose of the Thompson kiddos was fun, too, as always. It was a good end to what has turned out to be a very long summer that was a combination of challenging, rewarding, and enlightening. Here's hoping the coming school year is a good, final one for Drew and a good, first one for Topher.
