Weekend Eats
This weekend, to spice things up a little in the food department, we patronized (as in visited as customers; I assure you there was no false kindness in our attitudes) two classic Utah establishments. On Friday, Drew picked me up from work and we headed to the Red Iguana in Salt Lake City. I had heard a lot of raving reviews about this place, so we decided to try it out since, at 4pm, we'd be early enough to beat the crowds that are also mentioned frequently in reviews. It was good; worthy of it's "best food in Salt Lake" designation? Maybe, maybe not. To us, it was mostly just Mexican food, but it was fun to be out and about in the city either way. We continued our food-filled weekend, first, with Brick Oven pizza in the company of Lisa, Lori, and Zach on Saturday afternoon, then with a rescheduled Easter dinner with the Thompsons on Sunday (more of their cute faces next!).
Plenty of good food with plenty of good company. Can't beat it.
