Summer, Georgia Style

After an immensely enjoyable five weeks at the beach in North Carolina, we headed back to Georgia to spend a few days with our families. In spite of the oppressive heat, we spent a lot of time outside, doing what Georgians do: shootin' guns, boatin', and playin' frisbee.

Shooting guns is not among my favorite past-times. Something about holding that hard, dangerous metal so close to my face. Still, I tolerated it long enough to pop this balloon Rambo-style, complete with an angry scowl:
