We made it! We're now in Indian Beach, NC a whole 2,311 miles from Provo, UT. Since leaving, we've spent three days in the car, four days in St. Augustine, FL, three days in Richmond Hill, GA, and six days in North Carolina. Internet access and down time have been in short supply, so it will take a few posts to get caught up with our recent adventures, but we'll get started now with our journey east.
Road trips through the American southwest aren't exactly the most exciting thing in the world, but we kept it interesting with plenty of music and Harry Potter on disc (many discs). We also tried to document our travels at regular intervals, and here are some scenes from the trip:

Picture-taking drastically declined at this point. We had dinner at Olive Garden and spent the night with my Aunt Jonell and Uncle David in Shreveport, LA. We got started again early Saturday morning, and chugged along to make it to St. Augustine, FL by midnight. Here are some random sights from the day.
Drew enjoying gummy worms, crossing the Mississippi River, and the Mardi Gras Museum in Mobile, AL.
Eventually, we made it safe and sound to St. Augustine, FL. The humidity, greenness, and ocean were all welcome novelties, and we were oh so happy to get our tired bodies out of the car. More on our Florida adventures next!
