Savannah, Spontaneously

A few scenes from our most recent (very spontaneous) trip to Savannah:

Hanging out at Nannie's:

Her new house is lovely, and it's getting lovelier all of the time as she and my dad work hard to make it hers. And her yard is amazing; Naomi was in heaven in such a vast expanse of flat, green grass to run around in. 

Dinner at the Shell House:

This trip (conveniently and intentionally) coincided with my dad's birthday, and we all celebrated him with a trip to the Shell House for dinner. Naomi was her typical, restless self in the restaurant, but luckily, there was lots to see (fish and turtles and alligators, oh my!) and lots of extra people willing to show her. 

We have another trip to Savannah on our calendar for the 4th of July! We can't wait to see these people again.
