Happy Halloween!

Naomi started the season off as a wicked cute witch:

but sported this mouse costume for her very first Halloween:

We found her costume on sale at the consignment store across the street from our apartment and couldn't pass up the opportunity to collect a few smiles from the ridiculous amount of cuteness of Naomi as a fluffy mouse with a tail and big ears. She's too young for trick-or-treating, and we're too old for it, but we still headed out on Halloween night for a long walk into our neighborhood, just to be amongst the festivities and check out all of the other kiddos in their costumes. Some of the families had gone all out with the decorations, and the costumes were fun, so we had a grand old time, even though we didn't collect a single piece of candy.  

The next three pictures aren't great, but they pretty much capture life with Naomi - always moving and usually smiling. 

Our curious mouse got her sticky fingers on a Three Musketeers and didn't let go of it until it was forcibly removed from her little paws after she nearly choked on it. She had chewed on it so much that it melted and shrunk; Mimi pretty much saved her life while we were Facetiming with her... I'm sure it won't be the last time Mimi's experience compensates for our lack of it. Thanks for your vigilance, Annette!
