Bridal Veil Falls
Yesterday, tempted but unwilling to waste the beautiful weather on the final episodes of Lost, we headed up Provo Canyon to watch the mountains shake off the snow and wake up to the warmth of spring. We planned to drive up Squaw Peak, but the road to the summit was still closed, so we decided to head over to Bridal Veil Falls instead. It's not much of a hike - a leisurely walk really - and there's not much more to see once you get there than you can see from the road, but a waterfall is a waterfall, and a walk in the warm spring sun is a good walk any day, so I'll take it.
It was a short, but good trip. Just enough sunshine and snowmelt and flower buds to convince us that spring and summer really are resurfacing around these parts. Hallelujah.
